Heres how i would do it

kill-1pt.
capture flag-7pt.
kill player with flag-3 point
die 3 times without killing-minus 1pt.
die 4 times without killing- minus 2(and so on)
leave before the round ends-end with score of 0
lose game-minus 5 points
win-5points

your stats should be a average of your score. you should lose points for losing, since if your playing capturee the flag there could be people who go around and kill so they can get stats higher.

Or even better a dynamic map setup thats created either from internal data or external data.
And then allow players to make there own map with a simple builitin editor.

The problem with CounterStrike style weapon buying is that if you're doing really well, you get better weapons, and that just makes you do even better-the people who aren't doing well are left even farther behind. It just gets more and more unbalanced as you go. Weapons are going to spawn on the map so that the only factors in how well you do is skill and a little bit of luck (with finding good things as they spawn).

maybe classes? or just BUYING WEAPONS?

you and lets just say for the sake of the argument,..2DArray are on a team.
you would have to get money by killing people right, so anyway, your on the team with 2D and your playing capture the flag, he tells you to protect the flag and because you suck so much all you can afford is a friekin pistol. you and 2D lose and it is all your own fault and then 2D will come on here in the next hour and completely dis you in front of everyone in the forums and then no one will want to be on you team ever again.
