maybe there could be a game ttype were you have classes and another game type were you find and pick up weapons on the map.
also, the options to turn effects down, instead of quality, since im using a laptop right now ill probally lag.

No nothing that makes the game unbalanced. |
i mean that you start with... uh ... $2000 if you join a server you can buy weapons when you killed people... and yes its like css... but! when you survive you get money!... happy?

- Good Clan Support Good clan support? What does that mean?

Stats and achievements webpage for each player is the biggest new addition to the game we're making and we'll have to push the release date to Q1 2008 because of that. You can't tell me that's not gonna be awesome

i think the clan support is being able to chat privately in games with lan members, seeing if theyre online,etc etc

Yes I second this. This way we can have private rooms, but don't make us have to search for them like in SA2.

the person who made the private chat could see you trying to get in and denie it or allow it.
ive never seen that done before, but i bet it will work.

Yeah, we've got plenty of things left to put in, but the stats tracking is going to be a very big part. At this point I think it's going to count points, with 1 point per kill, regardless of whether you're playing DM, TDM, or CTF. Flag captures can also count for some number of points, like 10 or something. Not sure exactly. I don't think I'd want to penalize for losing a game, but I probably would for leaving a game before it finishes. Maybe. If you've got any good ideas for stats, throw them on out there, I want to hear them.

ok... but why not buying weapons?... ok i agree. but no weapons that can be found on the map! customize players is cool but why not with a hat? oh good clan support means: the clan will help him with killing enemy forces!

buying weapons, cool idea, but really, that feature is in so many games. how bought earning weapons instead

Weapons will spawn around the map.
The problem with CounterStrike style weapon buying is that if you're doing really well, you get better weapons, and that just makes you do even better-the people who aren't doing well are left even farther behind. It just gets more and more unbalanced as you go. Weapons are going to spawn on the map so that the only factors in how well you do is skill and a little bit of luck (with finding good things as they spawn).

an idea, sort of a sub option for any game, a selectable weapon set. you can actually decide what weapons will spawn throughout the match(ie. meatfest, nothing but shotguns)
