Struggle isn't required for one to be successful. So what value does he have on the success then? Perhaps not as much as one who has struggled, however that's irrelevant and doesn't change the fact that the person is successful, struggle or not. He just values it less, but that doesn't change the fact that he's still successful.

How much one values success has nothing to do with whether or not he's successful.

Neccesity doesn't imply requirement, without struggle, what understanding of effort could the person have in any other venture they might attempt? we're not arguing the value of success, were arguing the value of the person, what value a person who lacks the understanding of stuggle?

Necessity doesn't imply requirement

Necessity -

–noun, plural -ties.
1. something necessary or indispensable: food, shelter, and other necessities of life.
2. the fact of being necessary or indispensable; indispensability: the necessity of adequate housing.

3. an imperative REQUIREMENT or need for something: the necessity for a quick decision.
4. the state or fact of being necessary or inevitable: to face the necessity of testifying in court.
5. an unavoidable need or compulsion to do something: not by choice but by necessity.
6. a state of being in financial need; poverty: a family in dire necessity.
7. Philosophy. the quality of following inevitably from logical, physical, or moral laws.

You're right, it doesn't imply requirement, it is a requirement. Necessity = Requirement.

Understanding of effort? You don't need to understand effort, other than the definition of the word itself. Struggle, implies desperation and use of violent effort, which some people in life, don't struggle. Hard times perhaps, but not struggle. Assuming we're not using struggle loosely, I don't think it is a necessity within character. Nor do I find 'hard times' in life to be a necessary part of character. Sure, it can be part of it, but not a necessity.

That's completely opinionated. What is value now? How does one judge the definite value of a person? I have a friend named Michael, he's valuable to me, but not to somebody else. I don't find anyone who has an understanding of struggle any more valuable than somebody who does not.
