Voting Purpose

I'm not too familiar with the elections of the past, but I remember there being a huge outcry in 2000 because the race was so close between Bush and Gore. Florida's votes, they said, had to be "recounted" - so Gore told them to do that. Now, since the governor of Florida was directly related to him, it's no surprise that when they announced the "masses had actually voted for Bush", that was his winning ticket.

People said he cheated. Wink

Happened again four years later.

Everyone wants to see their family have power.

O yea one more question. Why would they waste millions of dollars campaigning after they already won their parties vote.

I say that the spending of hundreds of billions of dollars that is put towards campaigning should not be spent. Give it to the failing economy, not for the pursue of power.
