Stranded 2 vs. GoBallistick

Xgen has revamped stick arena, and is calling it go ballistick coming out in december. straight to the point, could this be a potentiol competiter for stranded 2? Question

it could be, but you've got to remember, SA is an actual arena style game (frenetic, fast paced play, ie. Quake 3, Unreal tournament, Half-life 2 deathmatch, etc.), it's looking like S2 will be a more tactical game (slower paced, less reflex action, more tactical coordination, ie. Counter Strike, Call of duty, the "Battlefield" series, Halo, etc.), I know that both of those can be easily changed if you alter the map size, but you get my point.

It's honestly tough to tell how S2 will be played, but we'll see how that works out when the game is released. And the main push from Ballistick is that you have to pay to play it. At least...that's how I remember it. Might have been changed since I heard last.

it would be cool(ballistic) but all in all. it wont be as good a S2 in my opinion...

StickRPG 2 is on hold right now considering it's a big project and have other things to work on. But to let you know, more is being done then what is actually been said Wink

Isn't GoBallistic just a Stick Arena expansion pack with more maps and weapons? It's still the same game. I can assure you that it's not dead though. They went on to release Pillage the Village first and then went on with GoBallistic. Damn, I feel like an XGen PR here Smile

No doubt about it that S2 will be better, IMO.

I've been a fan of Xgen since 03' but there forums really suck now. All the good memories seem to have vanished out of my mind due to the fact that I get banned for particualry no good reason at all. It's taken a lot of courage for me to finally quit Xgen and well, I have. I'm leaving it for good untill StickRPG 2 is out.

srpg2 started going slower, and slower, and slower. And now completely stopped. As it had for the past dozens of times. Why don't they just cancel the project? They'll never get it done anyway, so why bother wasting peoples times?

Quite like Rubymatt, it seems...freaking strict dude. At least, from his posts.
But one upside: It is super easy to become a mod or super mod there, there's probably about 10 mods in a place with 60 members. =/.

I can hear you on that once. The forums do suck. And the mods are all full of shit. I could go on about the unfair reason I was banned to. But whats the point.
Anyways S2 is clearly gonna be the winner. At least the makers of S2 care about there game. Where xgen has left there game for dead long ago. And I don't see ballistick being able to save it.
Hopefully S2 won't repeat those same mistakes. And if it doesn't it'll be a great game.
So I'm hoping for the best. But preparing for the worst.

Yeah, Xgen has really gone to hell. I'm glad I left it anyways. I almost got laid and if I went back to tell everyone they would call me a liering nerd and not believe me. I'm sure that DarkZoma fag would say that. If he still posts there, he needs to get a damn life and he seriosuly needs to stop acting like a flaming homosexual and hitting on the "female members".
