Do explain why he frightens you. |
The experience. Sure, he promises all this stuff, but can he deliver it? We could end up worse then we are now!

Experience has nothing to do with making promises. Experience is an ally, but nobody has experience of being a president before they're elected, anyway. Obama has been in politics for a while; you can't say he just became a polician one year ago.
No matter who is elected, we could end up worse. Or maybe in our universe McCain is elected and Obama is elected in another universe, but both end up profitting.
Point being, "experience" really shouldn't scare you. You should ask your own question about John McCain - don't point it just at Obama. You should ask the question for the candidate of the Green Party, the Marxist Part, the Independents, the PSL Party - that question of "can he deliver it" needs to be asked of every politician, including Obama, but not only him.
Also, even if he "scares" you, why would you elect a person with whom you disagree with more...? I mean, I guess I see some logic in it due to your paranoia, but really... if I didn't like a guy but he promised to do all these things I agreed with, I'd probably vote for him. I'd think he's an asshole, but I would also think his propositions would help the nation - and hopefully he fulfills them.
It's not a question of experience. It's a question of politcal bullshitting. Who's doing it more? That, my friend, is the real question.

I just wish the commercials they showed were less of what the other people did wrong and more of what was done right by themselves.

Though I Don't live in America, and I seldom care about America's government. I read about this two people a lot, and I mostly vote for Barrack Obama. Hell who knows, America's Government might affect our Filipino Government, and our country has already enough crap.

incorrect, president Theodore Roosevelt served in office for two terms, was out for a term, then ran again at a later date. Mind you, this was still when "two terms" was only the tradition set by Washington and not yet the ammendment that followed Franklin Roosevelt's three terms in office(and if the people had their way, he would have kept the office till death, now theres a vote of confidence right there, I tell ya what.)

True. Even with the amendment, Bush had experience of being a president before his second term. My mistake.

I understand that. O_o What makes you think I didn't? I was just citing the most recent example of a president who had held a term before running.
