As long as they are working when they are plugged in... or do you mean one is working without the other?

Well, whats going on is kinda weird....

So, I conntected my mic. then, I took it out. But the mic is still somehow "detected" on the computer.

Well, the mic isn't with me. It's on my top shelf, so I would assume no...

Oh yeah, since this mic is dectected working, I can't use any other mics untill I "unplug" this one.

The mic I'm talking about is the mic on that headset that I told you guys wasn't working. I plugged it in for last resort to test the mic one more time, I restarted my computer with the headset still plugged in, and now it's dectected as working, and untill I "take it out" I can't use any other type of software.

Again, Quick update.

After fiddling around with my controls, I managed to stop it from dectecting the sound cards that I disabled, but it's still dectecting my Mic (broken one) as working...

I like the title of this topic, it says it all Laughing So the Mic is unplugged but the PC says its still there and working, and because it says that you can't use another one.

Well what I would do is just restore your PC, but Back up EVERYTHING.

EDIT: Forgot to ask does it go in to the red hole or a USB?

Mods can close, because it's fixed.

Someone told me to edit a binary document from 00 to 01 to "fix my mic". Although, the mic did not get fixed and the stuff got detected as working for some reason. I just changed it back to 00 and everything is fine.
