It is possible for an iceberg to destroy a ship, think about it, the ship was made way back!Also it was 1912, nobody had found of really strong metal and how to improve it!The sharp tips of the iceberg must have collided, no not cartoons!, possibly it fully crashed into the iceberg, falling in water with the iceberg.
